PRESENTATION
The Photo Gallery was created from an important collection of iconography and has been a project and promotion of the Foundation since 1982. The collection has grown larger since 1999, thanks to the cataloguing of the works of art kept at the Museum and a vast repertoire having to do with activities proposed by the Direction of the Museum: exhibits, didactical workshops, publications, conferences on art topics and cultural events. Finally thanks and appreciation is owed to the generous donations of scholars and donors.
The entire collection is currently being digitalised and catalogued.
PROJECTS
The Direction of the Museum is firmly resolved to expanding its photographic collection through the acquisition and acceptance of donations and /or legacy of pieces of artistic interest, with preference for those pertaining to the area of Piedmontese baroque.
In point of fact, one of the current projects regards the realisation and the opening to the public of a Digital Archive of Piedmontese Works of Art of the 17th and 18th Century, with the intention of providing the museum with instruments of study and consultation for both research and scientific purposes.
